Press releaseNepali Alliance for Democratic Republic, UnitedKingdom condemns the heinous attempted bomb explosionat the residences of leaders of Civil Society Movement for democracy Peace Dr Devendra Raj Pandey and KrishnaPahadi.



The alliance suspects that the perpetrators intendingto harm the leaders and scare the peoplestruggling to establish full-fledged democracy in Nepal are no other than anti people royalist elements.The alliance strongly supports the movement launchedby the civil society leaders to establish democraticrepublic system in Nepal.


We request the government to investigate the incident and bring the culprits to the public and take strongaction against them as early as possible. We also urgethe government to guarantee security of the civilsociety leaders and take strong action against the anti democratic regressive forces, who are responsibleto create anarchy in the society.


The alliance strongly urges the government to takestrong action against King Gyanendra, who isresponsible for gross violation of human rights and create chaos in the country.
